Series of 7 Laser cut panels inspired by vintage Chinese propaganda posters. During the cultural revolution, visual signages became a strong vehicle for general indoctrination in the country of China enforced with texts such as “Keep Discipline” and “Love Motherland”. Presented in an installation form with a light projection through the cuts thus creating a shadow on the wall reflecting the multiplied subliminal layers of these messages on today’s Chinese contemporary ideology.
